Great atmosphere & attentive staff - perhaps more training needed on dietary requirements as our waitress had to leave and come back when I was ordering to try find out, and there should be an allergen list provided as to my knowledge the menu had allergy numbers next to dishes but no key explaining what the numbers stood for. It would be good to have more vegan options. Saying that, the vegetable curry was beautiful and a bit different, would definitely get it again but variety needed and maybe just a tiny bit of effort to make already existing vegetarian dishes suitable for vegans (ie vegan cheese and vegan sauces, not just removing these items and saying it’s vegan) No vegan dessert option either to my knowledge so would be good to have that as well! We were a big group and the food came promptly and was all hot and nicely presented 🙏

What can I say - Brewer’s house is an absolute one-off for the Tyrone / mid Ulster area. If you received the food you get here in one of Ireland or the UK’s top hotels or city restaurants it would not be out of place at all. The chef deserves some credit; all the meat is cooked to perfection, the desserts are to die for! It is well worth every penny, and so it should be a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the region, it shows through time and time again. We went midweek and it was busy, the indoor decor upstairs is beautiful. We had the beef and the hake, fantastic flavors. The desserts were some of the best I’ve ever had - baked Alaska and lemon tart surrounded by Italian gooey meringue. The service was top notch also and always with a smile. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

The food was absolutely unbelievably tasty, the staff were quite young but attentive and knowledgeable. The service was fast and professional. The cocktails were delicious. It's hard to fault, however, a slight let down was the presentation of the main meal, we had the duck and while the flavours really were impeccable, it was less than half a fillet of duck and the presentation left alot to be desired. (I know I'm picking a bit here but for the price of the food I think it's important the presentation matches the taste and the price.) The fondant potato was more of a tiny baked potato and there was only 1. The arrancini was beautifully presented but bland. The romesco was slightly underwhelming. The ginger creme brulee was show stopping! Thank you so much for such an incredible experience!

We booked this restaurant for Sunday lunch to celebrate a family birthday. Menus arrived quickly and we waited a while to get our orders taken. The place was not overly busy upstairs. We placed our orders and sat back and relaxed in the nice surroundings. The starters arrived one plate at a time with delays in between. It was only later I realised the food is carried up from downstairs. Another wait and plates were cleared, another wait and our dinners started to arrive. First plate to arrive was steak, it was supposed to be medium rare, arrived over cooked and cold, next 2 plates of chicken chiabatta, the bread was cold and rubbery and the chicken breast on to of the bread was lukewarm, the little jugs of gravy on the plate were big cold. Both dishes came with triple cooked chips which were hot and tasty. The next plates were the 2nd and 3rd steaks ordered, first one to be the same as the last one but was so undercooked the fat was not rendered or not even warm. This steak was not eaten and the 3rd steak was well done as requested but was also lukewarm. Mashed potatoes was ordered with the steak but arrived too the table cold. 2 fish and chips arrived next and were hot and tasty. The ribeye roast beef specials arrived and w were hot and enjoyed. After everyone had finished we waited and waited to order desserts and teas and coffee. All in all, most people at our table were unhappy with some elements of there meal, some were unable to eat there dinner, the service was slow. At no point do I want to watch 4 members of staff having the crack up at the till, while we are waving to try to get some attention. In the end my husband had to go up and ask if we could get a bill as no staff were chiming near us. Now, why did I not say anything when i was there. We were out as a family and although I have no problem in saying what is wrong my dad and brothers do not want the bother, hence why we just paid and left. When our dinner was sitting in the kitchen for so long that several dishes were cold, sides were cold and service was slow, why would the person in the kitchen not think that those fingers have been there for so long they would be cold? When the chef was cooking the 3 steaks, how were 2 cooked so wrong and all 3 cold. Why is it up to the diner to have to complain when anyone in that kitchen must of know how long our meals were sitting there? Why did the kitchen staff send out cold food. We enjoyed our family get together and catch up but none of us would ever recommend the Brewers House and none of us would ever go back there to eat. Sorry this...

Very disappointing experience. Had been looking forward to getting back to the Brewers but we were sadly disappointed this time around. Landed into a restaurant with a very untidy bar top where we were asked to sit while our table was made ready. We then went to our table to be told that they had ran out of quite a few things on the menu. My husbands food didn't come as described and when we questioned this they said oh we ran out of that, but no1 stated this when they brought the food so that he could have ordered something else. We felt rushed and almost like we were in the way of tidying up. The staff also talked out loud to eachother about how we were complaining when we asked if they could turn down a fan which was blowing cold air straight at us. Disappointed. We aren't picky people just expect good standards when you are paying good money...
