The Pizza Co — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

The order was placed well within the delivery time frame as advertised on the Just Eat app. Two hours later and over forty minutes past the notification of estimated delivery, we rang the establishment. The staff member was rude and unhelpful stating that the delivery times stated by Just Eat were inaccurate. The staff member alleged that the order was complete and ready to be delivered but they were waiting on a delivery driver. Another thirty minutes later and still no delivery. We sought clarification via the app and it advised us that the delivery was changed to 8pm. At 8pm, and still no sign of the delivery, we asked for some money back via the app with the assurance that the order would still be honoured and not cancelled. We subsequently received the notification that our entire order was cancelled. At 8.12 pm I have to make dinner for my 8 month pregnant wife when I was ordering her dinner for 6 as a surprise. I was really disappointed with my visit here. The garlic bread pizza was incredibly dry(hard to see but 100% over cooked and inedible), and the pizza itself was undercooked and soggy. The worst part, though, was the staff. They didn't seem to care much about cleanliness, no gloves, which i understand to an extent but touching your face, using your phone, then and to made the whole experience even worse, they weren't washing their hands before touching the food after touching their faces or touching the phone! I won’t be coming back. I wasted £23. My partners food was no different, the chicken was extremely rubbery, and the cheesey doughballs seems to taste so artificial. We are really disappointed :( I'm normally all for going back to a place if the food wasn't great as it might've just been a bad day, but with the hygiene issues...

Order took over 1.5 hours to arrive after numerous calls chasing the order and unhelpful staff with no apology just an explanation of 'its not my fault, its my manager'. Eventually, the order arrived and it was stone cold and wasn't even correct. I called back and got speaking to the manager who offered me a full refund. I still have not received any refund and I'm now having to spend more time calling and emailing to chase this. I will never order from here again and will be recommending to all family and friends to avoid this Pizza Co. Terrible customer service.

Update: After receiving no response (after calling the store again to request that this refund was processed) I sent a message through to Pizza Co Facebook and my refund has now been processed.
