I like to go out for breakfast on a Sunday - Wherever I am in the country.
Went to The Village tea Rooms this morning to get a breakfast for me, my wife and son. Got there at 8.35am - it opens at 8:30am. Greeted with a young girl putting dividers up for the outside seating area and lifting all the chairs off the tables inside. She asked if she could help us. My son said 'Yes, we're here for breakfast' - The woman inside said, 'Can you give me 5 minutes.' We sat outside the Library until 8:45 and could see from where we were sat that they were nowhere near ready even 15 minutes after the opening time! If you have a cafe, and you advertise the opening time as 8:30 - you should be ready at 8:30am. Still not ready at 8:45 - chairs still on the tables inside - so we left. Can't comment on the food because we couldn't wait any longer...

The atmosphere was also very uncomfortable and awkwardly silentâyou could hear a pin drop. Overall, I would avoid this place...

Unfortunately my wife was told there was no toilet to use on site âdue to health and safetyâ and to use the library or the betting shop which was closed and being under 18 the betting shop was a no no.
unfortunately my wife had to leave before the food arrived, I donât need to dive into detail what happened next.
