The food here varies from barely acceptable to inedible. Uber Eats have this wonderful system whereby a driver/rider can be 2 or 3 miles away from the restaurant (dark kitchen) and still assign themselves to your order, so by the time they pick it up it’s cold. Then if you report cold food they send you a stock reply and no refund, part or otherwise. Uber’s customer service is something else, food must be exempt from the Distance Selling Act because the only way to get a refund, even if food is missing, is to threaten to show them up on social media. The franchisee has obviously told the staff there that waste of any kind will not be tolerated, so if your food has been on the pass for 30/40 minutes waiting for the delivery person, tough.
