Absolutely disgusting service once again this evening. This pub has been my local for years but it got new management recently and has gone down hill MASSIVELY. We decided to give it a final chance this evening. And what a waste of money! We arrived & ordered starters. Ordered mains. 10+ minutes after we was told there was no sweet potatoe fries so instructed our waitress to have skinny & thick to replace them. 2 of the mains then arrived, one with the wrong fries. Our 3rd person who ordered 2 sides as her meal, then did not receive them until they had finished their mains. Hers again with incorrect fries. We notified waitress by going to the bar (no one checked to see if food was okay, told us where cutlery or sauces was) she agreed she remembered what we ordered and what we was served was wrong, so manager said he’d bring the correct order out. He then came to the table to say it would be around 5 minutes in which we’ve now all finished eating. They arrive. We then ordered pudding (4). 3 was black forest sundaes (ice cream, cream, brownie, flake, fruit). What arrived was just fruit sundaes, no chocolate & with extremely sour and very hard fruit. We instantly complained at the bar again. Waitress returned to table to say yes unfortunately they were made incorrectly and the manager offered the table a round of drinks, which we wasn’t keen on as we ordered a round with puddings but waitress did not offer anything else after we clearly showed we didn’t all want a drink. 3 drinks came along with a message to say they’re closing in 10 minutes. Why offer drinks when we have to down them? What absolutely hideous service. They were not busy at all yet no attention was paid to our food nor the pub itself our table was covered in ketchup, table next to us with litter over the floor. We was the only table in the whole bar area. Absolutely no excuse other than poor service and incompetence. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
