The Weald Smokery — Restaurant in Rother

Staff beyond rude. Need training in customer service. No smile. No manners No personality. I was left shocked, I felt that if it was a secret shopper the lady (who thought way too much of herself for shop staff… absolutely delusional in putting herself above the customer, which is so wrong when you’re serving others as a job title) would have been sacked.

Recommend owner sends secret customer in, identifies her and gets this women some support with being approachable and half decent at...

The Weald Smokery is a superb experience. The staff are extremely helpfull, knowledgeable and friendly. The smoked salmon is superb. You can always find different and interesting items there. Bought some products as a gift in August 2021. Didn’t realise until given the gift that the ham had expired in September 2020! Not only the ham has expired but some cheese too, by 1 month.
