Visited here this afternoon. At first I thought the service was poor. Nobody really said anything and it was really quiet. Our waiter was very nice and seemed nervous/ anxious. I wasnât sure why until I heard the lady running it call him a âstupid boyâ because he made a mistake with the card machine. She spoke to him in a very patronising way and I found it very unprofessional and uncomfortable. He actually did a good job at getting our food and drinks and we felt very bad for him if this is how he is treat at work. I wasnât the only person stood there who heard what she said to him and how she said it. This ruined the experience for us. Food was alright, but will not be returning. Hopefully that young man will get an apology and some respect from his employer as this is not how someone should be treat at work...

We booked a table for 11-45 for four people and it was only when we sat down that we noticed on our reserved table sign that we were expected to leave at 13-15. So we were allowed 1 hr 30 mins not a lot of time when we hadn't seen each other for a while. We ordered 2 pots of tea which were only half full and when we asked for more hot water it came in quite a small jug! We got 2 small teacups of tea out of each large teapot. On a better note note the toasted sandwiches were delicious, thick slices of crusty bread served with a side salad. Unfortunately I cannot recommend any of the cakes on offer as we didn't time...

Cosy, very relaxed vibe to tea rooms, table service even if it's just a coffee and toast which is what I had, very nice thick bread and decent size coffee cup!
