Leger lakes Tearoom they've not responded to my Facebook review and have blocked me and my partner! says it all!

We called in for the first time yesterday and it was mayhem. Chefs and staff putting things in a bin and not washing their hands, then getting cakes out for people with bare hands. Even the chef scraped scrambled eggs from the pan in the bin, didn't wash the pan just on with the next item to cook, he was also putting things in the bin, no hand washing after, then picking up someone's toast, going through the swinging door using hands. Great spread of bacteria. We ended up leaving without eating as I was disgusted. There was complaint after complaint, meals not being brought out correctly, people coming in, told to take a seat, then not going back to them, when they finally went up to the counter was told no food left. We were there about 40 minutes and not once told they were sorry but there is a wait. All staff were running around like loonies and plates being smashed, first and last time for Me. If the hygiene standards are like that in front of customers dread to think what they are like out of sight. Wear gloves for food touching, wash hands when being in the bin. The whole place needs disinfecting after the hygiene practices I witnessed. The best thing about this place was nice coffee as this is all we had, and the donkeys, Shetland and alpacas that I...

Very disappointed been looking forward to visiting the tearooms after seeing the amazing cakes that were shared on Facebook. On arrival staff were not very attentive and were too busy tidying up. They informed us there was no hot food available but could have coffee and cake but the choice was not what was displayed on Facebook the choice was either 2 dried up scones or the smallest slice slice of Victoria sandwich that looked like it had been dropped on the floor. Staff were getting their coats and bags on the table ready to leave and another was sweeping up round our feet whilst we were still sat. Yes we were the last customers of the day but we were not informed of the closing time at any point other than to be told we had 2 minutes to leave. Not a nice...

Our first ever visit, and I can 100% say it won't be our last. The food was lovely, and top quality ingredients used. Freshly cooked and piping hot. The team were all very friendly and polite, and served promptly. We had a full English breakfast and a latte, and took home 2 slices of their Victoria sponge cake. The breakfast was excellent, couldn't fault it at all, the latte was just as good, and the cake ,well, it was spot on. I think this has just become our thing to do on a weekend, either for breakfast or lunch. We were made to feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door, and the place was spotless too. Well done to the team and look forward to seeing...

Been visiting this venue regularly for fishing since it opened at easter very friendly owners and staff always made welcome ..start the day of with one of their full English breckys then into the fishing.on the numerous occasions we've been we have always caught either on the larger of the lakes containing a mix of fish with some decent carp.or on the smaller lake catching stockies, ide ,roach realy mixed bag ,,the smaller lake ideal for small / medium club matches...with 16 pegs. First 4 pics are from small lake ..other 5 are from bigger lake ...well worth a visit

They changed the portion size of omelette. It is now smaller than used to be and it is not value for money, now, so forget to order omelette dishes. arrived 1:20pm on thursday, the pie of day, soup and yorkshire board were not available. we ordered cheese and mushroom omelette and pate board. the omelette was delicious. the pate board is ok. the chocolate cake was nice and not too sweet. I had a ginger beer for drink in a hot day and it cooled me down. the tearoom locates in a quiet countryside
