The service was extremely slow despite us (5) being the only ones in the restaurant. The serving staff were very pleasant but we waited half an hour for starters, then the same again for main course. I ordered fish pie. Wish I’d taken a photo. It was a grey mush under the potatoes with loads of peas mixed it. I couldn’t see any fish. The first time I’ve ever sent anything back. I then ordered the salmon which was fine but not a lot on the plate. My sister had melon and strawberries as a starter which, although from the children’s menu, was served in a cheap plastic bowl. I left still feeling very hungry but didn’t want to spend another half hour waiting on a dessert. A very disappointing lunch so will never be back.
