Alma — Restaurant in Scotland

Have been coming here for 18 years and have never been disappointed with the food and service. Food is amazing, I especially like the chefs specials and you can choose the hotness level. Service is excellent and you are never waiting on anything. Maybe doesn’t have the wow factor in the decor front but the food and service certainly more than makes up for it.

I phoned the day before our booking to ask if they could cater for a vegan meal, and they were brilliant. The staff knew which sauces I could have with poppadoms and supplied a replacement for the one I couldn't have. Food was excellent but service for food was terrible. Table booked for 7, food ordered at 7.15 didn’t arrive at the table till 8.30, we only ordered main meals no appetisers.
