We went to visit almond valley and loved it, however when we went to have a lunch firstly I was quite shocked about the prices. Chips, just chips, were £5, kids meals -4x nuggets with about 10x chips were £4.95, toastie with very poor salad was £6 something.. I understand we all need to make money to survive, but portions were tiny and prices for what was offered were very dear. We will definitely not include the cafe in our next visit. I have to rate the service though, staff was friendly, service was quick and the place was very clean.

The cafe has a homely feel and a lot of character from the old mill and the staff were friendly. There is a good selection of food for both adults and kids. Lots of seats available and you'll find a large softplay next door.

Themed cafe fitting in well with the style of the centre. We had very good service. We dropped a cup of coffee on the way out and were given a free one when we went to pay for a new one. Coffee was slightly weak though.

WiFi wouldn't work consequently the app was a pain to download, finally got the app and it won't let you select more than one soft drink so have to go for one back out and back on again. Other than that it was very quiet when we visited so quite relaxed once we'd identified the one phone that would...
