I will give them 0 stars if I could "Absolutely appalling experience at this place which hypocritically claims to be "pet-friendly" online! When we visited, the reality was a stark contrast. Dogs were relegated to outside, and my boyfriend was literally screamed at to take his dog out without even a chance to order or ask if there were any accommodations. No consideration whatsoever was shown for pet owners who just wanted to enjoy a coffee with their furry companions. As a group, we were forced to choose between abandoning our pets outside alone or leaving without being served, which was made even more frustrating by the lack of menus or any way to know what products were available. The screaming and aggressive behavior towards my boyfriend was completely uncalled for. It's deceitful to advertise as pet-friendly and then provide zero accommodation or courtesy. Needless to say, we took our business (and our dogs) elsewhere and would strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. If you can't accommodate pets or don't intend to allow them inside, then don't claim to be pet-friendly! Misleading advertising and poor customer service are not what we expect from a business. Had always wanted to visit here and yesterday booked a table for 1.15pm had a nice table with great views. A young girl came to take our order very nervous she must have been a new employee, managed to finally understand what we wanted after 20 mins no drinks had been served and when I asked was told they were just being done another 10mins lapsed and still nothing 2 people who came in after me had received their meals, we then received my husbands ploughman's which looked like it had been sat in the heat as cheese looked dry and then they brought his soup which he wanted as a starter and then I got my main meal well over three quarters of an hour after ordering . Was told they were very busy but most tables were emptying when we arrived . My husband was very upset at this stage and didn't not eat his meal soup was lukewarm so I am very sorry but will not be returning very disappointed in the whole experience. They did kindly not charge for our drinks but service was not good at all and overall very expensive , best part is the setting. Was hoping to be able to put up a good review but...

Popped in here for lunch today. Now it may have been helped by the beautiful weather which we haven't seen for a while. We were greeted by a lovely friendly young lady who showed us to a table (we chose outside) with the whole Moray Firth as our view, couldn't be better. The menu really has something for everyone. Snacks, baked potatoes, sandwiches, full meals, fish, burgers and gluten free too. It was difficult to choose but I had Steak ciabatta with salad and chips, it was delicious. My other half had Smoked haddock mornay with mash and peas which he enjoyed very much. Wish we had room for one of their fantastic looking cakes, next time. Everything is reasonably priced for these days and I would highly recommend Catch (at bijou) at any time of day. Service was great from start to finish. Already looking forward to...
