Stopped in for lunch over the weekend, got a vegetable tart and fiancé got a burger. Both enjoyed the food! The chips are an interesting cut almost in a v shape which gives extra surface for crispiness! Very tasty. From their selection of sweet treats we ordered a lemon meringue tart (very good) and a slice of treacle tart as I've never tried it before. Don't know what I expected but it was way too sweet for me! If you have a major sweet tooth though you'll like it and maybe with a bitter coffee to break the sweetness. It was also a bigger place than we expected and seemed dog friendly by the number of dogs outside which is always a plus! Would love to hear some background music being played but have noticed that's not common in UK

Many times i have driven past this gem on the A9 however i can now say i've been there. I lovely wee cafe with a delight of pastries and cakes on display. I stopped for breakfast - full scottish. Staff are friendly, service prompt and efficient. It was a hearty breakfast, tasty with my favourite black pudding. Ample parking, drive slightly past the Tomich cafe for entrance which you may miss if your not paying attention. Spacious, decor light and welcoming. Low music plays in the background. A lovely cafe, i'll make a point of stopping by next time.

Excellent small restaurant just off the busy A9 road. Although it looks small there is loads of room inside. We arrived at 1pm and we got a table no problem. The restaurant was busy and you just go to the counter to order/pay for your food. We did not wait long and the food was lovely and a very generous portion. It was easy access with a wheelchair although the car park is a bit rough with stones.

Although somewhat uninspiring from the outside, EVERYTHING was top notch inside. I had Cranks salad with 2 rounds of goat's cheese and chutney sitting on toasted rounds of wholemeal/brown bread and it was superb: full of strawberries, tomatoes, various lettuces and a truly amazing variety of other things like raspberries, pineapple, mango, blueberries, celery, onion, olives, white beans, cucumber, yellow and green peppers, with a delicious dressing that made it unnecessary to add mayonnaise! My husband's fish, chips and garden peas were also excellent. He was particularly impressed by the fish and found the chips a vast improvement on the hotel frozen fries he had last night! Our decaff lattes were delicious and the staff most helpful and courteous. There is outside seating if preferred and the toilets were clean and well maintained. We wouldn't hesitate to eat here again so it's a shame we are moving north and then down...

We just stopped for a coffee but were made to feel most welcome.

The coffee was lovely and there was a wide variety of soft drinks. There was also a huge selection of cakes and biscuits. I can particularly recommend the cherry shortbread. My husband's cheesecake (I think it was lime or lemon from recollection) looked so professional we were concerned it was shop-bought but the first taste shot that theory down.

All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had parked right next to the building in order to decant me and my wheelchair more easily and my friend fully intended to drive back to the car park but a staff member said it was fine just to stay parked there and the owner himself confirmed it which was nice and beyond expectation.

Overall a very...

Waited over a hr to get food and when it arrived the chips looked like something from a chipshop floor as in wee bits off batter the scampi must have been made for Christmas day it was that hard

Over heard other people complaining that it wasn't up to scratch

My wee girl got macaroni and it was discussing Think the cheese was off or something wasn't cooked within the guidelines

Reported it to the chef and the old man that walks about maybe a glass collector or manager non of them where interested on what I had to say dident offer money back or anything

The sister inlaw and brother tasted it and nearly was sick

Stay clear of this place as something isn't right

Maybe a visit from the right people might be the answer STAY CLEAR STAY...
