It’s the only cafe in town but a good one.

It’s easy to say the coffee was good but, we drink ours black so we appreciate a slice-of-joe served in a neat mug and that’s what we got. Stop and taste it coffee. Splendid. We also had a roll each, one of sausage and one of bacon and while we didn’t ask would wager it’s locally sourced.

Simple and well done.

The staff were great even providing doggie-sausages for Rocky and getting his photo for their wall.

Dogs are welcome inside if they’re well behaved.

The cafe has clearly been a village hall or the likes with the original building of stone and attractive. It’s been made over to its current use with a mostly glass extension and fills this roll nicely.

Plenty of local-interest photos adorn the wall on your trip back to the loos which were immaculately clean - albeit it was a Monday morning.

The cafe, peninsula and nearby lighthouse are worth a visit and a wander around in isolation. It’s a cracking part of...

What a delightful little gem tucked away up the main harbour road like a piece of sea glass tucked behind a rock and more than worth the hunt! Staff were absolutely wonderful, coffee was divine, milkshakes went down a treat with the little ones but the winner was the cakes! A HUGE chunk of chocolate cake especially from a personal perspective- moist, chocolate buttercream filled, light and enjoyed by all - even after their own scrumptious ginger loaf cake (wow!) and lemon drizzle (beautiful!) A little walk to find a warm and tasty welcome in a...

Went on my own to have a quiet cup of tea, ended up with a scone as everything looked delicious! It was beautiful! Came with proper clotted cream and jam. Was very fresh and the fruit inside was tasty too. Was very well priced and welcoming, so much so I took the family back to have ice cream. Four good flavours, each equally yummy! Donna who served me both times let us have a little try. Walked out with three huge ice creams for a very fair price indeed. Very grateful to have found this place and can’t wait to...

Stopped in by here with the other half for a quick lunch. The staff were absolutely wonderful and clearly knew many of the regulars. Our sandwiches were lovely and the cakes were to die for. The decor is maritime themed and you can glimpse the sea down the lane from the cafe. We could easily have stayed longer if we weren't on our travels. I definitely recommend this place and I have a sneaky suspicion we'll be back next time we're up this way.
