My Fiancé and I have been here about 4 times in the past year and a half and it is easily one of my favourite, and best, Italian restaurants we have ever had the privilege of visiting.
First off it is so easy to miss when walking around so I am very glad we stumbled upon it as every time we have entered we have been greated with a very warm, welcoming and heartful welcome and have been sat in a lovely, homely area. The background music is very relaxing and the whole experience gives off an Italian vibe.
Our hostess is always very happy and smiley. She is very polite and nothing we ask for is too much. A touch I really enjoy is the chef comes out to advise us of his current specials, a really nice touch.
The food is absolutely bursting with flavour and each dish we try gets better and better. The value for money for food portion/quality is fantastic. I have enjoyed talking with the chef at the end of our meals and letting him know how fantastic his food is, for both taste and presentation.

My partner and I's first few visits were as guests of the hotel down the road. Our most recent visit this week, we made the journey to Uphall from Glasgow just to come to Chenzo's. I cannot rate it highly enough - this restaurant and these owners. Make sure to save room for dessert as well, the homemade tiramisu is a perfect end to dinner...

It was not crowded at all, but it was a Monday and we were there quite early for dinner. The owner was the chef and also our server. Regardless, you are there for the food and it was outstanding. I had the Penne Chenzo’s and my husband ordered Tagliatelle Chicken e Broccoli. Both were delicious and the pasta was perfectly al dente. We also had two dark fruit ciders that were yummy and shared a slice of house made Italian cheesecake since they were unfortunately sold out of tiramisu. I am usually not a big fan of cheesecake- at least NY style cheesecake - but this was light in texture and very good! It’s definitely worth a stop for a fantastic...
