The Cherrybank inn has expanded quite a lot over the years and the results are quite impressive. It has an extensive eating area that is spacious and comfortable. Decor is tasteful and modern. Extra seating is available on the enclosed balcony area. If you want an indoor seat, which may be warmer, I'd recommend booking in advance at the weekend or on special occasions. There are large televisions on the walls so that guests can watch sports. There is also a seating area outside on the ground floor which has porta loos nearby. It looks to be well kitted out for big groups of sports fans. Accessibility for the disabled isn't very good. Entrance to the Cherrybank Inn is via stairs at the front of the pub or at the expanded entrance to the back. Those with some mobility problems but who can still manage some steps would be better going in through the front. The front bar also has two toilets for male and female. The other toilet is a single unit for baby changing. There didn't seem to be a disabled toilet. Toilets are fairly small and a little cramped. In fairness accessibility issues are probably due to the age of the building. Onto the food. I ordered a crayfish cocktail to start. It was fairly well presented but the sauce on the crayfish lacked a creaminess to it. It could have benefitted from a dusting of paprika and a lemon wedge to add a little kick to it. It was served with some small slices of brown bread and cold butter. It would have been better if the bread was a bit less generic. Some rock salt and black pepper on the table would have been good too, since it needed a little extra seasoning. I wanted the roast lamb for my main, but there wasn't any. I also wanted a pint of orange and lemonade...but they were also out of that. So I got a j2o and roast beef instead. The beef was pleasant and the gravy was nice. However the portion was a bit small and there wasn't a very good mix of veg on the plate. The Yorkshire pudding, although decent, was also a bit on the small side. If you're fancying a roast, I think the Broxden farm would be a better option. For dessert I had profiteroles with ice cream. They were ok. The ice cream was in a ramekin and there wasn't much of it. The profiteroles had a slightly chewy texture to them, as for the chocolate sauce, it would have been nice if it was hot and in a ramekin so I could dip it or pour it instead of drizzled. We were forgotten about when it came to getting the bill. Then on paying we were charged for our drinks which should have been included with the daily roast deal. That was rectified when we brought it up... but I'd recommend checking in case they have forgotten to apply the discount. If I was wanting to watch sports with some friends with a beer or two, then the Cherrybank Inn would be a good place to do it. The screens are large and there is plenty of seating. Otherwise, there are places that offer bigger portions of better quality food for the price. If you're after a roast, I'd consider the Broxden farm above the Cherrybank inn at the moment. (Sept. 21).

Went here with Family for Sunday dinner. Which apart from my good ladies meal everything else was very nice. My wife ordered the Sunday Roast rib of beef only to be served up roast silverside which was so tough and chewy she could not eat it. When I complained and asked for a replacement meal something different. This could not be done as there were too many orders in the kitchen. Poor show I thought. So my wife ended up sharing my Steak pie. Which was so tender and delicious. Will I dine here again, that depends on whether or not I get a reply about my complaint. A Butcher for 50 plus years I can tell the difference between Roast rib of beef and Silverside muscles.

There is a car park and entrance at the rear of the building. Space for a number of cars and road side parking too. There is a large veranda with tables and then another large area inside so plenty of capacity. The menu is like the greatest hits of pub food and I enjoyed the gammon steak, my partner had scampi and my friend had chicken tikka masala with rice. All good. They had glasses of wine, I struggled to get a Scottish beer, eventually settled on Ossian bottle. Plenty of usual world beers. Service was fine, everyone helpful and friendly and place was warm and atmosphere was comfortable.

Popped in to the Cherrybank Inn on Saturday 29th July. It is in a great location and dogs are welcome, so I thought all was going to be 'bob-on.' However, when I arrived at 12:30, I ended up standing at the back entrance for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to come and sit me and my guests. The blonde waitress could clearly see we were waiting to be seated. In front of us, were three tables that had a "reserved from 4pm" sign on them, and I was tempted to sit there, but patiently waited to be seated.

In the end, one of our party went to find out what was going on, only to be told quite rudely that the place was fully booked. This message could have been delivered much earlier, and besides, there were a number of hours before the tables that had reserved on them were due to be occupied.

I have given 2 stars, as the food on other peoples plates did look very appetising, but as for customer care then it is an epic fail. We headed don the road to Bridge of Allan to a wee hideaway cafe that was brilliant! So all...

Arrived to be shown to an outside seat - it was damp and cloudy & not warm enough to eat outside so I asked if we could put the patio heater on ( they have loads) - the waitress checked and said no ….. but for offer us a table inside . We moved but quickly found we were outside the toilet and had to move our chairs constantly for people to get past . We then had to eat our dinner listening to the hand dryer just behind the door . |All the doors were still open so it was cold even inside . ||The waitress arrived with my son (3) apple juice and when I looked there were lumps of mound floating in it . She took it back but no apology for serving something so disgusting to a young child . ||The food came and it was OK - that’s the best I could say . Bland with no real flavor / potatoes with no butter or salt etc . ||We used the toilets and they were FILTHY. ||Definitely...
