What a cracking little shop on the A9 at Portskerra where you can stop for an all important ice cream 🍦 to cool you down on a scorching day. A good choice of various flavours are available at a competitive price and you can either have it in a cone or wafer, brilliant 👏 The staff are really friendly and you can have a nice wee chat with them whilst you're being served. Payments by either cash or card which is good as well and there's good car parking available outside as well as some bench tables to sit at if you've got children. Great idea ladies, keep up the great work and we'll definitely drop by again soon 👍🏼 Really recommend stopping but it will get busy during the summer...

Excellent wee place, immaculate inside and out. Cooker range was also extremely clean, not your typical greasy spoon hole that you come across and manned by two very personable staff that take an interest in their customers having asked where I was from and where I was headed..

There are tables and chairs for a welcome sit down outside and inside the canopy part at the front of the shop and a toilet next door.

Freshly cooked bacon and egg doubler was delicious, girl kept the yolk runny as requested at just over 4 quid was money well spent.

Well worth a stop here..

UPDATE; April '22.. Excellent, hope you have a great year this year.......

Fantastic locally owned and run coffee shop on the NC500. Would highly recommend.

I regularly stop here for toasties and their fabulous hot chocolates. They also have great icecream, cakes and coffee (and bacon rolls from their breakfast menu) at good prices.

The staff are lovely and the place is immaculate.

There are also tables and benches for sitting outside in the sunshine - and you can see the sea by Melvich bay in the distance.

The public toilets are also just down the road too, which is handy...

Nice wee place, just at the side of the road. Not a huge menu but enough for a light lunch. Cakes also available. Toastie was good, and the ice cream was delicious. Beautiful views from the outside seating area. Public toilets just yards away. Parking right in front of it. Ladies serving were friendly and efficient. Definitely will stop again

What a super find. Last leg of our LeJog and in need of an espresso boost and this little place appeared. Great coffee and a lovely chat with the owner. She gave us a broken flapjack that she couldn't sell and it was delicious. Top spot.
