Started with crisp pork belly with black pudding crumb, apple puree and parma ham crisp - very palatable! Main course, difficult choice as it all sounded marvellous. I decided on the tried and tested fillet steak and was not disappointed đ. An excellent quality full 8oz fillet, melt in your mouth tender and cooked rare to perfection. An odd accompaniment of chips, mac and cheese, buttery mashed potato and onion ringsđ€« but the combo worked very well. I'm a 'big lad' and fond of large portions but would suggest either the mac and cheese, or the mash would have been sufficient (or even have the mac and cheese and mash and leave out the chips) but all options would be equally delicious.
