Our experience was affected by unusually hot weather. The outdoor space has picnic tables, but no umbrellas. There was no breeze. We moved to the edge of the parking lot and sat on the grass to get some fresh air, looking out over a beautiful beach and the sea beyond. We both ordered fresh langoustines in garlic with salad. Service took about 20 minutes. The langoustines were good, but hard to eat for someone with arthritic fingers. My husband had to help me peel mine. The dressing on the tomato and lettuce salad was surprisingly spicy, for me, a lightweight. My husband found it tangy and good, but would have preferred the salad in separate containers. The langoustines did not taste of garlic, but were laid on a thick, soggy piece of bread brushed with butter. I would have preferred a crusty piece of bread. Napkins were scarce and needed given we had to extract the meat from the shells, the to-go forks were gone, and we got the last two wipes. We made a special detour to experience this highly rated beach shack. If you want above average food at a beach, this could suit but a little more finesse...
