I have to edit my review. While the food is amazing unless I'm happy to takeaway I can't sit in.

I'm unable to climb stairs, I tried to make reservations to ensure I could be seated downstairs, and I explained the situation over the phone, but they don't take reservations. I'd have even been happy to pay a deposit if they're concerned I won't turn up. It is a small cafe, and I'm sure every seat counts. So if I try to visit and it's full, well, there's nothing to be done.

We decided to chance it on Sunday, if it had just been a case there were no tables available, well OK, we tried. What really infuriated me this time, when we arrived, there was a couple just ahead of us waiting to be seated-maybe people will think I'm being entitled, or ability biased-but rather than apologising to the people ahead of us, and offering them seating upstairs, they sat them down in the last table downstairs. Then came back to me. A very kind couple seated in the cafe by the till offered us their seats, but we decided to leave. We won't be back. As a side note. The disabled parking space is conveniently painted right outside the front door, but because people don't park in the painted spaces, if I'd chosen to park in the disabled space, nobody would have been able to leave unless they drove on the grass.

My previous review when I was fortunate enough to be seated - I met a friend for brunch this morning. I had the French toast, it was lovely. It was served with maple syrup, fresh fruit, and yoghurt it was really tasty. The staff are all very friendly and are happy to help and answer questions. I'm not a prude though I am aware by saying that, I sound like a prude, but some of the workerwear choices left a lot to be desired more for safety than anything, short shorts and shorter t-shirts seemed to be the...

Hidden gem of a coffee house in Inverurie. Lovely atmosphere with airy, bright seating downstairs and a cosy wee area upstairs. The coffee is superb. First time in a while I've had a flat white that isn't bland and had a kick to it. The staff were quite busy when we were there but nothing was too much trouble and they were really friendly and fast with multiple orders.

I'm not a vegetarian but can recommend 'the big cheese toastie. Positively oozing with decent tasty cheese and the accompanying chilli jam is perfect dunking material for the tortilla chips. The Mexican poke bowl and avocado slice meals also went down really well.

The rest of the menu also appears varied and really quite interesting with the vegetarian breakfast burrito and wholemeal vegan pancakes already marked for a return visit.

They...

The breakfast burrito I had was fantastic. Unfortunately, there seem to have been changes made to the menu in the past few months and this place is now more of a coffee and cake place than a brunch/lunch location - they had 3 rotating sandwich options, a breakfast burrito, and granola, plus cake/sweet options. They have cut down on their vegetarian and vegan menu and introduced meat - there was only one vegan lunch option when I visited. We came as the reviews mentioned the wealth of veggie options so we were left confused. There are in total 4-5 indoor tables and one bar area so beware that you might need to get your items to take away or sit outside if it's busy. This is not meant to be a negative review but more of an information post to manage your...

I was delivering their new ice-cream display bike and was met with the warmest of welcomes, the offer of coffee and cake, had covid not been an issue, there would have been visible smiles! They are very friendly and customer oriented, the food is mainly vegetarian but with vegan options, this lovely and quirky cafe is worth going out of your way for a visit, the coffee is excellent and the cakes exquisite!
