Four In One — Restaurant in Scotland

My partner and i have used the 4 in one in Rumford regularly for years and years. The last two or three orders we have had have been of a poor standard. The doner kebab meat a week ago that i received was dripping in grease so much so the bottom fell out the cardboard box it was in. Last night after placing our latest order we were told after payment had been taken (clever) that it would take approximately an hour and a half to deliver (90 minutes) and they were true to their word .When it arrived the food was cold.The doner meat was hard and it was acompanied by a pool of grease in the bottom of the tin tray. We stay 2 minutes by car from the shop but were enjoying a drink in the house so we couldnt pick up the meal ourselves. Another dissapointing aspect is the customer service.My partner and i have been on the points scheme for years but recently this has stopped for some reason.When we enquired about it a very abrupt female taking our order simply said we need to contact head office.Heres a wee tip you contact head office and get us both back on the points scheme ..that would be in the best interest of good customer relationship surely?

I cant totally slate this shop as the majority of meals we have ordered over the years have been decent. However following the quality of last night meal we are seriously considering not going back.

Finally, would like to commend the four in one highly for employing the total gentleman who delivers to our home (smallish guy with glasses normally wears a skip hat) He is an absolute credit to your company and his manners and customer service are impecable.

Ps please dont say your going through a transitional period.As a regular and loyal customer the least i expect is decent take away food,value for money and a delivery time i would associate with a fast food outlet.

This place is close to where I live and any time I have had a problem with the food being cold they have always been very helpful whenever I call them up. They always have made new food for me or even gave me extra food as a sorry for the food being cold. Other than that I see them as a very good and cheap option when it comes to a takeaway. The small hoggy for example is only £3.50 and gives u a full wrap with chips cheese and donner meat. Their other options such as pizza always come freshly made and hot and they even make them perfect whenever I’ve made special instructions. Their delivery driver is also very respectful and is helpful when it comes to answering any queries I have had on the food. As a big fan of the 4 in one chain I was hoping for a good donner kebab and it delivered the food was so flavourful and juicy the flavours all complemented each other and the chips were nice and crispy. The service was OK staff didn’t really interact but at the end of the day it’s just a take away. The atmosphere was good very lively and joyful the other customers were very talkative and funny. Would recommend as this is my main takeaway you can never go wrong with a good...
