What a gem of a place, visited this morning with our little dog. The staff were so friendly and welcoming both to us and our dog, bringing him a treat and a fresh bowl of water. Coffee and cake was fabulous, everything on offer looked so good, we were spoilt for choice. We sat at a table in the greenhouse which was really nice (music playing quietly, smart table & chairs, patio heaters for cooler days, strung lights for gloomy weather) but told we were quite welcome in the cafe as well even though we had our dog with us. The garden centre held a good assortment of plants and accessories, and the shop stocked all sorts of lovely things as well as necessities. A lot of thought had obviously gone into the planning and running of this shop/cafe/garden centre - 5 🌟 We'll definitely be back while staying nearby on our holidays - so nice to find somewhere with both a wonderful welcome and quality...

Delicious daytime food, much of which is very locally sourced. Clean and comfortable surroundings with range of seating which includes sofas. Friendly helpful service.    Read moreVery cold and unfriendly staff. Would have given 3 stars until we walked out and said hello to the lady in the shop who looked at us and ignored us, no hi or bye or thank you for coming. Also said nothing when we walked in. Woman who served us in cafe didn’t smile once and just very cold vibes. Pancakes were nice, coffee was really good but overpriced (£3 for espresso!), cake also overpriced (£3.95) and average. Wouldn’t go back...
