Ultimately ruined by a member of staff loudly complaining about non-locals being on the island. As a Glasgow native, rural communities access our city continuously, and are welcomed without being asked to leave. As a keyworker who has been working through the pandemic, I was enjoying my first meal outside of my home or workplace in four months, so being treated loudly with such disdain was extremely off-putting, especially as I have followed every rule, and continue to do so. Staff friendly and the cafe sells frozen Glengorm Farm products. We had purchased some venison pies, mince and sausage rolls at a Producers Market in Tobermory on Monday so knew their produce was good quality, hence the trip to the cafe and shop.
There are signposted walks from here and information in the adjoining information centre. Car parking would be a problem on a busy day.
