Gourmet Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

I am a support worker who travels up from Glasgow to work in Banknock very early in the morning and was introduced to the Gourmet cafe by colleagues. Never have I met such lovely people who go above and beyond to service their customers. Lovely atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Best cheeseburger ever. Well done guys. Just tried the new addition to an already perfect menu. PIzza. Wasn't a great fan before but this is my first from the Gourmet cafe and it certainly won't be my last. The base and toppings were second to none. A sheer delight. Recommend to everyone to get into the cafe and experience the best food ever. New owners. Avoid this place like the plague. Got a roll from here on Saturday that had dry chicken and it was almost rock solid and extremely inedible. The chicken was 100% old chicken and been lying there for a while. Disgusting would not recommend, so unhygienic don’t know how on earth they pass health and safety food standards.. Called to let them know, to give them a chance to fix it and was told to eat elsewhere and hung up. Wasn’t offered a replacement or refund. Stay clear! Myself, friends, and family have all been going here for years now. The lady who answers the phone and the man who cooks are always really nice and friendly.
