If you like your ice cream with a side of Highland cow scenery, this is your place. Sure, the flavour list isn’t the length of a novel, but what’s there is top tier — creamy, rich, and at prices that don’t make your wallet cry. My son’s chocolate brownie? Let’s just say it was the sort of thing you’d fight family members for… if he hadn’t already inhaled it in record time.

The car park is… intimate. And by intimate, I mean if you drive anything bigger than a Ford Transit Custom, you might want to limber up for a 14-point turn. The entrance gate is narrower than my patience when the ice cream queue is long.

But here’s the magic: the short walk from the car park to the café winds you past postcard-perfect Highland coos and rolling fields, making it feel like a secret countryside treasure. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, all with that warm, rustic vibe that says, “Sit down, relax, have another scoop.”

All in all, a delicious little stop-off that proves good things really do come in...

Staying with friends in the area, we heard tale of this wonderous magical place with ice cream and cakes that are life-changing. My wife and I walked up seeing all the highland cows and incredible foresty that surround this beautiful location, suitably housed in a converted barn. I can honestly say the Rasberry Gelato is the best ice cream I have ever had, it was spectacular. We shared the apple and almond spong cake, as well as a sticky toffee pudding. Everything was devine. Jane and her team are all very welcoming, full of great stories and the atmosphere they create is comfortable, friendly and very impressive. I cannot reccommend this wonderful family and their very impressive venture enough. Thank you team, we'll most...

Could not rate this place higher—one of the absolute highlights of our trip.

It is clear that this farm (and cafe) is operated with the utmost passion and care. The tour we took was authentic, and our guide we very personable, but make no mistake—this is a real farm (so you need your boots)! It was fascinating learning about the cows, their personalities, and the process of farm operation in Scotland.

And the ice cream was out of this world! It was lighter than many American ice cream and very refreshing. The ingredients were locally (or sustainably) sourced, and you can tell. The strawberry in particular was the best strawberry ice cream I've ever had.

Even if you just go for dessert, 100% worth it. ...

Absolutely brilliant. Strawberry sorbet was so delicious...all homemade with fresh strawberries. Great coffee and the menu for sweet snacks looked yummy. Beautiful garden with lush big trees for kids to play in and on beside a little burn/stream. Very friendly and warm staff, family run and nestled in the heart of the west coast countryside. Bliss. Will return. Highly recommend a visit to enjoy coffee and desserts in a more relaxed and unusual way, close to nature and away from the tourist chaos! Thanks so much for your lovely service and treats.

Our family did the 'meet the Highland Cows' experience with Jane and it was absolutely brilliant. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about the cows and farming. The cows and calfs were stunning and it was an amazing experience all round. The cafe is also brilliant with wonderful coffee and some of the best home made ice-cream we have ever tasted. This was one of the highlights of our holiday!
