Went last week. Had been many times before when it was under different management. There were 10 of us but there were to many mistakes with the order. Two came without chips, although this is what the menu indicated , the cheese and tomato toastie came with onion, as did the tuna in the baked potato, even though the menu didn't state this for either and the cheese and colsaw baked potato had no colsaw and the cheese was applewood smoked and again this wasn't the cheese on the menu. Asked for colsaw and got the smallest portion, mentioned the chips when paying and was told we could get our money back for the chips if we want... Yes please why would we pay for something we didn't eat! The toastie order was wrong already too as it was asked with chips only but came with crisps and salad until we sent it back. Lacking in cake selection for coffee and tea so had to go elsewhere. Food seem over priced for what we got.

Nice venue looking out across the water, staff pleasant and they fitted 10 of us last minute but the mix up of the food orders is not good and potentially an issue for people...

Have never been served so badly as we were 27/07/2025 waited 40 mins for a bowl of soup, a salad and sausage, egg beans and chips we were forced to leave as there was no sign of anything coming out of the kitchen although there were only 3 other tables occupied all of whom were served We asked to see the manager as we were leaving to be told that there was no manager on the premises We have been eating at this restaurant for many years and the difference with the new owners is astounding obviously they employ only very young inexperienced people on the minimum wage as the morale and customer service is abysmal with no supervision it is also noticeable they a once very busy excellent restaurant is failing to meet decent standards and it was how quiet it was compared to what it was previously I intend to contact the management in order that no one else is treated in such an...

First time my friend and I have been in since it reopened, unfortunately I will not be back we had ordered tea and cake , I chose a fruit scone and asked for it not to be toasted , it came out warm took it back and was told it was a mistake that it had been toasted , so was given another scone , took one bite and realised that it wasn’t fresh , it was dry and hard , took that back asked if they where fresh to be told no that’s why we toast them , chose a different cake which are obviously delivered in , that was fine they did give a small discount for the inconvenience, the girl who served us was pleasant wasn’t her fault , but unfortunately spoiled...
