Jaggy Thistle Food Stop — Restaurant in Scotland

The Jaggy Thistle is definitely worth every penny...and every star. The freshly cooked food along with excellent service, smile included 😊 is of the upmost quality.

We stayed in the adjacent cottage, Coorie Doon which is a warm, cosy and tranquil place for tourists to base themselves from when going on holiday to Scotland. There are multiple trails right from the cottage which are perfect for viewing the whole glen and also the loch.

Keith and Kay, the proprietors are wonderful, helpful people who cannot do enough for you.

I had car trouble and not being a mechanic I couldn't figure out what the issue was. Not only did Keith accurately diagnose the fault, he also directed me to the nearest garage for help. He is a true gentleman.

Me and my partner Karl was on holiday in scotland a week ago and we stop here to get a cheese burger and their burgers were out of this world never tasted burgers like this before they were absolutely yummy and the food is stunning well worth the money. It's the best cafe we ever been to, keith & kay are absolutely lovely people, they make you very welcome and warm and so so friendly and we can't forget their lovely dog barney who comes and greets you. When we come back to scotland hopefully next year we will definitely be visiting the cafe for more of their amazing food. Keith is an angel!!!! My husband and I arrived today with our 7 month old. An alarm had been going off in our car for 20 minutes, my daughter screaming in the back of the car! I went in with our daughter and Keith came straight over the comfort me asking if I was ok, giving me a cup of tea, offered to look after my daughter whilst had a brew to steady my nerves. Keith called Robert from the local garage to come and assist us with our car. He kept coming over to me, chatting and was ever so polite!!! His kind gestures this afternoon where so lovely!
