With so many pub failing across the UK it was nice to sit in here and see a old fashioned locals pub thriving. It's nothing fancy but everyone was chatting, not that I could understand a word as it was in Scots. The Guinness was exceptional and the barman took great care in pouring it and even put a shamrock on the top - all for £4.50 👍

What a cracking bar just by the 5F start at Musselburgh Racecourse. Super friendly bar staff and a couple of great cask ales make it a worthwhile visit. Highly recommended 👍🏻

I may have been the only customer on an early wet Tuesday afternoon, but I got the impression that the pub would be a good place to spend a few hours in good company.

Very much a working man's pub with basic comforts. You are likely to hear some coarse language. However, the bar staff and patrons are friendly and obliging. They are very welcoming to OAP's. Quite a few of the patrons are OAP's themselves. It is a safe place to frequent. Their ales are very good and...

Great dog friendly local pub, good craic good ales great staff friendly locals. The owner let us park our motorhomes and stay overnight. He even took the husbands up to the park n ride to collect them. Now that's beyond great service. Highly recommend and hope to...
