Absolutely ridiculous Booked an order for collection & was informed that the item was no longer available but when going into the shop, there was 6 of the items in the fryer. I called back to ask why I’d been lied to about this & the girl told me that there were no ingredients to make more but when I spoke to her manager, his story was totally different I.e the ingredients were there but “he couldn’t be bothered” EXACT WORDS Whatever happened to the customer is always right. Always get a delivery from here and it varies what I want or my parents want. The food is usually always to a high standard. Shame cannot be said about the deliveries. A lot of times things are missing thats been paid for or theres been a mix up with an order. Take last Tuesday. I ordered a delivery of 3 chip rolls , two fritters ,a portion of onion rings and a bottle of diet coke. Now I was charged for all that and I didnt mind paying it. However when it came everything was there apart from the Diet Coke. Usually if they dont have something the drivers will give you a refund and say the shop was out of stock. It's a pretty standard chippy, with a standard menu and standard prices (the portions are pretty big though, so thats a plus!). You get what you expect and that's just fine! The one thing that I would say is a minus point is that there are no seating options/tables (which is fine in and of itself since its a takeaway) but it would be good if they could provide a couple of chairs for folks with disabilities to sit on while they're waiting for...
