McDonald's — Restaurant in Scotland

Just purely the worst McDonalds in Angus and Tayside, orders are forever wrong or got bits missing staff are more interested in standing talking behind the counter than actually doing anything, they’re rude and discourteous especially if you try to explain your order being wrong or not complete. Restaurant dining area and restrooms are at best usable the dining area isn’t the cleanest and the male restrooms often have a heavy scent of stale urine urinals out of order due to whatever reason one click and collect bay which even if you order in advance wait in excess of 10 minutes the drive thru is laughable the staff are always putting the wrong items through or give you the wrong change parked order waiting is beneath standard and even when they write you reg down still manage to give the wrong orders out, there is nothing positive I can honestly think of about this restaurant other than the hope of new management who enforce rules and policies and ensure staff performed to standard I’d sooner drive to Dundee Dobbies much much better service that can’t even be compared to this...

We have just been to McDonalds in Arbroath and it was shockingly bad. I questioned why the order said no ice in our drinks without asking for that and we were told there was no ice. This has happen a few times before. We were asked to wait in the parking bays because our food wasn’t ready which was not an issues because we thought I meant that our food would be fresh but we got home after a two minute drive and opened the bag of food to find there were barely any chips, they were soggy and cold and the burgers we had order looked like they had been thrown together. My double Big Mac only had one slice of cheese on it, the bun at the bottom was up the side of the box and the burgers weren’t even on the bun and my fiancé’s quarter pounder only had three slices of onion on it and we asked for extra pickles and there was only one extra pickle on it. Not worth the money and not the first time recently that this has happen. Really disappointing as this McDonalds was really good quality...

The assistant with the bright blue eyes and gold coloured hair deserves a pay rise. I was only in a short while but in that time she wiped down every surface that had been touched, was on hand to assist customers and had to remind countless people about their masks, I think people were leaving them behind. The assistant was really lovely wishing us a good day as we left. Staff such as this are an asset and should be given the respect deserved by customers. If you wear a mask then please help the staff and use it and remember to take it when you leave. There are screen menus from which you order from inside McDonald's and at the end of your order it asks for a tent code. Beside the machine are plastic table markers with a number on which you input on the screen then take to your table and then your order is brought to your table for you. It's so much easier than having to wait in a long queue and having to shout to be heard! The screen takes you through your order...
