Really disappointed. I've been here a number of times, and the experience usually varies - sometimes it's passable, usually it's not great. But today I went. Waited at least 20 minutes for my food. Person calling the number, practically whispered, so I didn't hear, she then allowed another man to root through my order... Presumably because he never got a receipt printed, as those rarely seem to be refilled with receipt paper (I'd say way over half the time I've been here, I've not gotten a receipt so, I feel pretty confident making this assumption). When I realised it must be mine, I collected it. The chips were cold. And I realised as I got home, a burger I paid for was missing. The place was not busy at all, otherwise I'd excuse this. I understand working at McDonald's can't be great, but it really can't be that difficult to 1) call the order out loud enough so everyone can hear, 2) read out what's in the bag from the receipt so strangers don't root through other people's food, and 3) check the receipt to make sure everything in the order is in the bag.
Barely surprised. Really disappointed. I think I'll just go to McDonald's in Dumfries...
Read moreBeautiful sunny day, grass was green sky was blue, perfect day expecting a perfect meal. Perfect meal was almost achieved, but dessert was ruined. Non-existent, to be specific!!! Out of curiosity I peeled off the sticker, and there it was, a Free Sugar Donut!!! However, when I went forth to retrieve my free sweet treat, to my utmost demise, the counter did not deliver my promised sweet treat. I was horrified, disgusted and gut-wrenched. “How could a multi-billion dollar company not carry a sweet treat which it promised its customers?” All five stages of grief engulfed me at that instant. I would like to kindly request for a month-long supply of free McDonalds to compensate for that horrifying, disgusting and...

The worst case of food poisoning I have ever experienced, and we'd had different meals.
McDonald's may not be the most lavish place to eat, but it is incredibly profitable. So whilst the food standards may not be excellent, at the very least the sanitary conditions should be.
Looking at reviews below it looks like this isn't an isolated incident.
Mould in drinks and several dozen accounts of food being cold and without certain items like the burger pattie.
It is even more dangerous for another reason as this is where lorry drivers commonly stop en route, and if they get sick mid transit, they run the risk of causing a major highway accident.
This place needs investigating and...
