Murray Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

So was in this local pub recently reopened by the brewers. i had been going for years. Its obviously no smoking but the people running the entertainment were smoking e-cigs and billiws if smoke were filling up the air it was shocking. I politely said to the new manager that smoking is not permitted in the pub. Everyone else has to go out if they wanted a cigarette and this applied to e-cigs . He said to the person smoking and his partner to take them outside which they did untill i had to leave. The company i was in said as soon as i left they started back up. How disrespectful is that. High time they got rid of old staff who clearly don’t want to be there. If serving customers is too much for a barmaid perhaps she’d be better off staying at home. Never in my life have I come across a barmaid who can’t stand noise nor is incapable of serving a queue of 4/5 people in succession. Not sure of her name (middle aged, dark hair) but she’s letting this place down. I don’t go out and pay for the privilege to have someone be less than pleasant. A real shame as otherwise a great little pub with fantastic facilities & friendly regulars. Won’t be back...

The Murray is the only pub in Polbeth. It's a decent basic drinking hole with a decent atmosphere when there's music on.
