New Diamond Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

Since we moved to Cumnock from Glasgow in April of last year, we have tried every Chinese in the area, Genuinely. They were all terrible.

The best and only take away that we managed to find was the Diamond Inn. We have ordered many, many times. Sadly this order was enough to put us off for a while.

The smell upon opening the container was enough to put us off before we even tried it. The prawns were clearly, best before use, and sadly my mother in law has the chicken chow mein, which had the same smell.

Just to be clear, we opened her container before the prawn Chow mean had even been taken out.

I love this Chinese. Genuinely some of the best Oriental food in this area, with amazing delivery times (which we didn't rely on this time) Please look at this, as nearly 35 pounds were spent and none of those hard spent pounds...

Fantastic meal last night, staff are very friendly and nice, food was excellent - everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, all in all a very nice night out! Would highly recommend! Last night was the first time in years that I had actually sat in for a meal there, but luckily for me they do home deliveries to Cumnock for takeaway, even though they are in Auchinleck, so my partner and I order takeaway from them about once a fortnight at least! Never again. Went for the “all you can eat” menu, more like “all that you’re given!” Signs everywhere suggesting you pay £5 for every 100g of wastage, so you’re encouraged to order little so not to waste food and end up paying more. But the problem with this is - food took forever to come out, and the staff didn’t bring additional menus to order more food.
