Oh My Gelato — Restaurant in Scotland

Awful place. Ordered a delivery of sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate fudge cake. It arrived after 50 mins and was missing parts of the order. On their website it says "served with a choice of gelato or whipped cream" I put in the notes which I preferred but these didn't come with it.

I phoned up and explained the issue. Firstly on the phone call the lady that answered read out two other wrong addresses as deliveries, this is a bad GDPR breach, she should be asking me to confirm my address and not just working through their recent delivery list. Secondly when she eventually found my order she said that I didn't pay for those items and so that's why they weren't delivered. I reiterate that it says "served with" on the menu and so it should have come with it. There wasn't even any option to pay extra if I wanted to. She refused to refund the order and actually asked me to come into the restaurant so that they could prove I'm meant to pay extra for it??? This was my second order from this place, I had this same issue the first time but let it go as a potential mistake.

We ordered smothered strawberries (£5.95) and other stuff for the family, they later call to tell us they don’t have the strawberries and ask if we want to change our order so we switch them out for a two scoop nougat wafer with chocolate fudge brownie ice cream. They forgot the substitute so we call up and they say we will send someone back out to deliver it, it arrives and it’s just vanilla icecream with a flake, so we call up asking for a refund because it’s just not what we ordered and they say “we will charge for icecream but give back everything else to do with the item” like no. That’s like ordering out of a chippy and asking for fish and chips then only getting chips and they just give you a refund for the fish. 0/10 experience don’t bother they are lazy with their orders.
