Over the past four years, I’ve been a loyal customer, consistently impressed by their offerings despite the bakery not being local to my village. First off, the woman behind the counter was brilliant. Friendly, warm, and full of chat—the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. She had a big smile, easygoing banter, and yes—she was also very good looking, in that effortlessly charming, “runs a brilliant bakery and knows it” kind of way.

I grabbed the famous chicken curry pie, because let’s be honest—that’s what the locals rave about. And rightfully so.
