Plockton Inn Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

I don't really know how to rate the 'food' category. The food tasted amazing, but it was just so overpriced. So I had to give it 1 star. I paid £20 for literally 10 mussels. This was on the lunch menu, so not a starter. Mussels don't cost much at all so I was shocked to see the portion size and the price of it. The dessert (a slice of Bakewell tart) was lovely but again extremely overpriced at around £10.

In addition I was ignored by the staff for a good 20 minutes after I sat down (despite being greeted), until I walked up to the bar and asked if I could order something. The place was deserted too so no reason for that.

I walked in just after the lunch menu and ordered a burger.

The burger was £18 which I thought was quite steep. However after eating it. It's worth it's value.

However I do want to say that whoever the chef is. Think quantity not quality. Only was given 10 chips and the burger wasn't the big. I wish I could give a better review but after being hangrery I'm still a little hungry.
