Excellent coffee in a place with limited options. It would have been easy for them to be mediocre given there is no competition for customers in the area but they definitely didn't. The coffee is fantastic and the café is clean and comfy. We arrived just after opening and my only slight gripe is it wasn't clear what food options there were so we just ended up with coffee and pastries which were great but it seemed there were other options as well, they just weren't obvious to us (no menus out). Definitely visit again for the fabulous coffee.

A small simple coffee shop with a big heart! Great food, wonderful atmosphere. We had sandwiches and coffee, sat outside and threw the stick for the dog. There are tables inside too. This cafe is in the Kilchoan community center which also has bathrooms, showers, post office, and gift shop with local handmade items and souvenirs. Large dirt parking lot and playground.

Had a short black and almond croissant and my husband had decaf flat white with oat milk and vegan chocolate hazelnut croissant. Amazing. Very peaceful and a lovely little craft shop and charity section. The toilets are clean and there are showers you can use if you buy a token. Don't know how much. Good parking.

Whilst visiting Kilchoan on a surprise visit I landed up catching up with an old friend who I hadn't seen for over 15 years, and we agreed to meet for coffee and a long overdue catch up at Puffin Coffee. Well, where do I start - what's not to love about this wee gem of cafe... A great variety of choice of the much required treats to accompany that brilliant coffee or two. Such a cosy environment and the added bonus that I was introduced to some of local residents was lovely. The service and my cappucino was top notch, so must so I had to reurn later in the afternoon for another drink and savoury snack - Apple and Sage Sausage Roll was a winner!! If you are in the area - make the detour, incorporate into your plans and have a wee break in this glorious getaway and...

I was here a while back for a snack with my dad and sister, and it was amazing! They had delicious icecreams according to my dad and sister. The owner is super welcoming and friendly and he made a vegan tosti for me!! There I was, a vegan, in the middle of nowhere in beautiful but canivorous Scotland, and I could eat a delicious vegan tosti! The admosphere in the café was cosy and warm and the products they're using are of a high quality. I advice everyone who is planning to be ever in the neighbourhood, to go to this place to grab a bite and/or an...
