Stopped in as we were kind of passing. Not the most welcoming place. Could have been because they were closing, but they could have told us that before taking our order. We had coffee and cake. Cake was delicious. Good was good although I tried the cafe bon bon which was a disappointment. A double espresso with condensed milk - on the bottom. Just a bit odd, and I'm not sure what the point of it was, especially as I wasn't given a spoon to mix it. Not a bad place. And handy because nothing else around. Nice looking place from outside, but the whole concept felt a bit hackneyed. But we were only there for 15 minutes (because they...

The food is really nice. Its a nice setting which is convenient for the paths. Quite peaceful. Been a few times - my reason for 3 stars is that the coffee tasted quite burnt on every visit. No other issues with other drinks but as avid coffee drinkers it really ruined our visits. On our last visit a lot of seats and tables had been left out uncovered and were very wet. Nothing to dry them with and it was dry day just time of year! And late morning still not dried. I think this needs...

What a gem! Lovely cafe on the edge of Pencaitland, with bike and car parking spaces. Warm and welcoming. Very varied crowd - cyclists, families and older people. It was busy but service was prompt. Food was delicious. There is outdoor as well as indoor seating. You can reach the railway walk via not too steep steps - I was able to get my bike up there with little effort. I'll be back...

Rosearista a cozy, family-owned coffee shop nestled in Broomrigg in Pencaitland. With a warm atmosphere and friendly staff, they offer a variety of coffee’s and tea’s, delicious pastries, fresh scones everyday & home baking. Their commitment to quality and community shines through in every cup. Have visited numerous times and each visit is just as delicious.

Stopped at this great little place on a bike ride on the adjacent cycle path. Plenty of seating, both inside and outside and well decorated. Bacon roll hit the spot and pleasing to see the coffee is served in compostable cups. Very friendly staff, serving with a smile. A recommended stop if you are in the area.

Small secluded coffee place which has a very relaxing feeling too it. Mostly due to all the customers being elderly people this is a respectable and smart business. The staff went out of their way to be helpful even when very busy. Food was all well made and tasty. I well definitely come back if passing.
