I searched the area for breakfast and picked out this farm shop cafe. Not very well sign posted, if you use the satnav it will most probably take you to a farm a bit short of the cafe. Very nice modern establishment in the countryside. Very warm welcome when we went in and was swiftly ushered to our table. The bacon butty was awesome and the wife had egg Benedict which she said was very scrumptious. I ended up with a slice of black pudding in my butty as the eggs Benedict came with a slice and the wife didn't like it. We had a latte and a wee latte with almond milk to have with our breakfast and all for less than ÂŁ10 each. A wee farm shop with local products. Well worth a visit if in the area and we will sure visit again when down in this area of Scotland.

We just had coffee as it was their closing time, but it had such a lovely ambience. Will definitely be visiting again.

We spotted this place on our trip to Dollar. It looked new, so we dropped in to take a look. There is a large carpark for patrons. Inside to the right is the cafe and to the left there is a small shop. There was a huge queue waiting for a table, so we opted to browse through the shop. Although quite small there is a good selection of farm goods on sale from local suppliers, which from buying from them in the past knew it was good quality food. Although we didn't eat here on this occasion, we could tell by the empty plates and queue to get a table, it must be good value. Hopefully, we will get a table on our next visit.

My overall experience was above par. When we arrive at the restaurant establishment, we were great by a lovely young man (unfortunately I didn’t grab sight of his name badge) who swiftly took my girlfriend and I to our table to be seat, lucky for us we were sat at table number 14 that had an impeccable window view of the breath taking hills. We were flickering through the menu, which btw has a tremendous amount of breakfast and lunch choice, it only took 5 minutes from sitting down to the young waiter (Kara with a K) to take our orders. I must say the staff were very attentive! Brownie points! Myself and my girlfriend both went for the saline shaw full Scottish breakfast, which btw I am English and was very unsure what the difference is.

During the wait I engrossed myself in conversation with my girlfriend what we were going to be doing for the rest of the day, when I notice the lovely young man (again not sure of his name) was very proactive with cleaning the tables which reassured me that the tables we were setting our cutlery down was clean.

All of this happened within a 15 minute or less wait of our food arriving. I started to tuck into my food and I was taken aback by the freshness and warmth of the bacon and sausages, I looked out to the vast field of farm animals and internally thanked them for their families sacrifice. Carry on with my food, Kara then checked up on us to see how our food was, which I replied “smashing thank you”. It took me no longer than 5 minutes to scoff that food down as it was super delicious!

My girlfriend and I swiftly moved onto the farm shop where we view all the fresh produce and snacks, with the special interest of picking up a pic n mix for the girlfriend. When paying for the goods we were interested in we were given a warm smile and a farewell, to which we went on our merry way and carried on our Sunday.

Thank you to all the staff at Saline...

DISGUSTING!!!!! you are lucky today I never caused a scene for the way you treated us. I would suggest your owner/manger takes a little training course on customer service. After sitting down and ordering food 2 teas and a cappuccino our drinks arrived but I had to take my cappuccino back as it tasted of nothing but milk so the girl agreed to remake it with an extra shot. You then come to my table 12 mins after we have been sitting to tell me the power is out and you can't make food. We had to leave immediately because we were pushed for time and needed food as my gran is 92 years old. She had literally taken 4 sips of her cup of tea but still you wanted to charge me for it. You then said I need to pay by cash which I didn't have so said you will need to get me the bank details for me to transfer ÂŁ5 ..... after standing for a few minutes waiting for you to look for bank details I even said to you "you know they haven't drunk their tea as we have to leave" at least have the decency to answer me but you didn't just ignored me. Eventually you hand me details and tell me to transfer the money without even giving me a proper price ..... could you not just have said look sorry for this don't worry about the tea it was 1 bloody tea bag and some hot water ..... well I've decided as a regular customer we won't be back that was absolutely shocking today, the amount of money we spent in...

A very new looking venue with plenty of parking available. It's definitely more cafe than shop but that wasn't a drama for me as all I wanted was a coffee. The staff were good, very clear and helpful, the CV-19 measures were applied and we were invited to take a seat. The menu isn't large, but there are some hot eats there and a fair selection of cakes to accompany the usual hot and cold drinks. Seating is inside but there is a small outside area to the rear of the building which sits opposite a beautiful view of the hills. They have clean and spacious individual 'comfort facilities' which is always good to see, and use! The shop is very small and takes a nano second to go around but a few nice looking cheeses, some meats and other culinary items. There's also a small selection of fancy goods to mull over. I'd have liked to see a bit more foodstuff but it wasn't a weekly shop so no matter. Will I go again? Definitely, it's clean, very nice staff and a tasty coffee so yes, put this on your list of...
