Anyone that reads my reviews knows I try to be optimistic and look for the positives. But too many issues at this restaurant to give it a good score. Food took a long time (about and hour). My lamb was way over cooked. A pizza we ordered was burned and presentation was not good at all. Food splashes around the edge of my wife's bowl. See pictures. Poppadoms were not as fresh and crispy as those I am used to. It was also way too expensive - £3.95 for 300ml bottle of Cobra. The food was also a little "strange". The onions served with the poppadoms came in a strange tomato's sauce (the base was, literally, tomato sauce). My daughter's Korma had way too much coconut. All 5 of us agreed the food didn't taste as good as we had hoped. I kind of feel this place caters for the many Gleneagles visitors who will eat once and never return. In summary: service: good and friendly, Portion size: good, prices: too high, food taste: below average, decor / ambience: very nice, presentation: poor.

We had a brilliant meal when we visited on a Saturday night in February. Free poppadoms and spice onions were served with drinks. For starters, we had a Chicken Puri and a Lamb Kathi roll, which was a new dish for me. Very tasty with deep smoky flavours. For mains, we had an excellent Chicken Tikka Chasni, where the chicken was tender and full of flavour. We also had a Lamb Railway Curry, again a new dish. This was rich, spicy and very moreish. Served with rice and a light, fluffy Nan Bread. One of the best Peshwari Nans we’ve had. Service was warm and friendly and very reasonably priced. A great Indian meal in a small town which is usually hard to find. Definitely be back. Good luck all.

Apologies about the late review! We were in a few weeks back and had an excellent meal; I had the chicken tikka starter followed by the chicken tikka karahi with pilau rice and peshwari naan -- absolutely amazing! Best Indian meal I had had for a while. The service was very friendly and great too. Overall, a great meal, and we will be back!

Myself and my husband ate at this restaurant on Good Friday 2025. I cannot recommend it highly enough; amazing food and excellent staff. We had the combo pakora platter to share to start - the haggis pakoras are insane!!!! Then we shared a Lamb Railway Curry, rice and Peshawari naan. The curry was beautifully flavoursome, not too spicy and the lamb soft and tender.

And the naan, OMG the BEST peshwari naan I’ve ever had!!None of your stodgy bready naan bread here, just a kind of thinish, light, fluffy naan with beautiful delicate flavour.

It’s a family run business who have recently taken over the restaurant and they’ve clearly put their hearts and soul into the place and the food certainly reflects this. Food is exceptional as is the service and it was very reasonably priced. If you’re in the Auchterader area or even in the vicinity make an effort to visit this place, you will not be...

Have ordered pizza and chips from this place before which was ok but fancied a curry this time.

I am sorry to say we were gutted, the food was awful, bland and from how watery it was believe it may have been frozen.

I had a Rogan Josh and did not have one hint of Indian spices, in fact I can name the ingredients used. They are plum tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, chicken and some stock, that’s it.

My partners dish was a Korma and again just terrible.

The cheese nana ordered was over done and had a ton of cheese thrown on top and lightly grilled, it was a heart attack on bread.

The reason I am so frustrated with this is the price it costs, it should be a top notch curry!!

Only thing that was okay is the frozen chips and rice.

I personally don’t recommend this...
