A nice Tearoom with a truly wonderful view.
Food good, and prices fairly reasonable.
But requires better stock management...
We'd travelled over 180 miles to see my Aunt, and then a further 32 from hers to visit this tearoom.
Everyone had their order in mind, only to then be told there were only Fruit Scones left, no Plain. I hate visiting a tearoom and being told there are no plain scones. It seems its just one of those things that shouldn't happen.
Then Karma struck my Dad however... After gloating that he was fine as they still had Fruit Scones, they came back and apologised, that there were no fruit scones left either.
So I'm not posting to be negative, or to put people off. On the contrary the views are amazing, and the staff lovely.
Give it a visit and see for yourself. And hopefully by then, and them reading this, you will be able to get a Scone with jam and cream (plain or fruit, as you prefer), whilst admiring the wonderful view across the...
Read moreOn holiday from England and ordered 3 sandwiches and scrambled egg on toast. Watched patiently as 3 Scottish families walked in up to 20 minutes after us and got served a variety of full breakfasts all much more complicated than what we wanted. As they had finished their meals and still no sign of our food we left to find the staff weren't even bothered that we were leaving without paying for the drinks we had long since finished. Went back in as a courtesy to say we were going and explain why and the staff just stood there emotionless not bothered in the slightest. One of the party was in a wheelchair, still decided to seemingly just ignore us until we left. 1 star is the minimum i can leave otherwise i would give 0 stars not that anyone from the tearooms would be remotely interested anyway based on...

I'd guess it was built maybe 10 years ago and is a bright, airy, modern space with lovely views of the bay. It was already open when we got there just after 9am and each time our eye was caught by a member of staff, they smiled and said "good morning".
We both had the full veggie breakfast, not because we're vegetarian, but because the veggie sausages are simply excellent.
The cafe and shop are a great example of how a community and charity run enterprise, can appeal to locals and visitors alike, whilst providing lovely food served with a...
