This is the rating for the departures waiting area, which others have also noted, is NOT the one you should go to, as the food options seem limited. However, I had one of the pre-made subs, only because it looked like the least-worst value for the prices of the sandwiches. It wasn't bad, just basic and average. Fortunately, they had a better-than-average beer selection on draft than the usual, small-airport, so had the Black Isle Brewery stout, and was very satisfied with that.
That being said, had I known that food was going to be served on the short flight home to AMS, I would have been better off walking over to the whisky shop and buying more of that instead. But if you are rushed for your flight, and are really hungry, I suppose this isn't a terrible choice.
Seating area was nice...

Before departures and after.
Before has a wider array of choices with food but once closed youāre out of luck and can only rely on the departing side.
The choices on the departure side are more expensive compared to the other side which considering itās barely 100metres away that seems a farce.
Donāt bother buying any spirits here either, youāll get it cheaper at the gift shop and youāll get more of it, the gift shop is barely 20 metres in the departure area.
Overpriced food, overpriced drink, get anything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the cheeseburger with salad. I didnāt realise beef this bad existed in Scotland. It had the taste and texture of a cheap hotdog. The burger could be improved by using actual Scottish beef and adding mayonnaise. Also, the āsaladā was disgusting. Why not have the option for chips?
This place is a disgrace to Scotland as itās the parting impression tourists will have.
Iām giving 2* rather than 1 as the service was fast and the burger was cooked as well as it could have been given the trash...
