A great stop for the cold wet mountain bikers that just graced the Tarland trail centre... Like us... Quick service and excellent selection of high energy cakes that you really really need after a big ride.

Stopped here for lunch, but ended up having the perfect banana split! Best coffee and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, can get busy but we stopped in on a Tuesday and missed the morning rush!

We're stopping at the Tarland campsite at the moment so we had our first wander along the road to take a look around the village earlier today. Before going we checked out the "attractions", as you do, and we're disappointed to see that this tearoom would be closed, as it looked nice and had great reviews. So we were delighted to find that it was actually open, and we went in for lunch. Very impressed! Very welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and well laid-out inside, and when our food (Coronation Chicken in jacket potatoes with salad, crisps and coleslaw) came it was lovely. Great coffee too. We'll definitely go back, probably to have one of the big breakfasts which sound wonderful. Definitely a place to visit if you're...

Absolute gem of a tearoom/cafe and a definite must if you are in the area. We ordered the soup of the day, broccoli, and a sandwich / panini. The soup was so delicious my husband asked the staff for the recipe - hope it tates the same when he makes it 😜. We also had a dessert - salted caramel apple bar with custard - so so lovely and better than any caramel apple pie I've tried anywhere - and we bought a cheese scone and a cherry scone to take out. It was all reasonably priced and staff were so friendly and service was prompt. So glad the pub wasn't serving food on a Monday or we may...

We have never been in this tearoom before. Never new it was there. A nice little tea room full of fresh food & home bakes. We had soup & sandwich. Soup today was carrot & red pepper. It was more red pepper than carrot, which I say not in a bad way. It was really nice. I bought a double shortbread home bake to take away as could not have eaten anymore. Have since eaten this with tea. I can absolutely recommend it. One of the best I have had in a long time 🥲. Nice to see a small business doing well in such a small place. Well...
