Not the best truck stop that I’ve been to although I only used it for overnight parking and the Cafe. The cafe is up a flight of stairs which would make it inaccessible for wheelchair users. The staff were either rather timid or abrupt, made it feel like I had disturbed them somehow and they were not happy about it.
The food was satisfactory for a truck stop but again I’ve had better as nowadays you go to a truckstop to eat better and healthier food in comparison to general motorway services but this was somewhat disappointing. E.g. the gammon egg and chips was actually thinly sliced ham with fries, although you certainly could argue about the portion sizes.
There are roughly 30 spaces in this truckstop, very easy to get to from the motorway. For anyone wondering there is no shop for truck accessories either. Parking with a meal...
Read moreWasn't refunded the correct amount of change upon purchase of a breakfast. When questioned, the person who took my money wasn't sure if they had refunded Me the correct or not. A second person who had not been involved in anyway beforehand then decided the correct amount of change had been refunded because there was only 1 £20 note in the til. I never got a refund for the correct amount of money owed to Me. There are also rude notices within the seating area telling everyone to wear "blinking" face coverings as it is the law to do so. Unfortunately I didn't see any effort from any of the staff to uphold such regulations. The staff were also not wearing face coverings. Terrible service and a poor attitude...

Tip get rid of the friendly staff, put in an automatic pizza machine and a tea and coffee...
