Where to start? I only agreed to accompany my partner as I needed a break. Id rather have broken my leg. Half-arsed service and when the food arrived...dear God. It had obviously sat under the salamander. Everything was burnt and the steak pie was dry. Even the lumpy bisto gravy didn't help. I left half of it and told the waiter it was horrible and I wouldn't pay for it all. My partner went to pay and they hadn't even acknowledged my complaint. Won't be back. Read moreI visited the only pub in Greenlaw as I was staying with an old work colleague for the weekend and this establishment is what the Chambers Dictionary should have next to the phrase Village Pub.
I was served the freshest of fish from Eyemouth, beer battered with chips and tartar sauce and it was a delight.
The pub is full of people from the local community and this is what makes the pub into a lovely place to be. The atmosphere is amazing.
