As a party of six and dog, we thought we would take a chance and pop in without booking. Thankfully they had space, and being in the food business I know this can be a pain. The food was excellent. We had the lamb which was superb the gravy on a dish like this can make or break the meal, but it was perfectly balanced and seasoned. Awesome. Fired doughnut looked like a dollop of chocolate ice cream. Crisp outside. Moist chicken inside. Sauce beautifully complemented dish.

My wife had the Braised pork cheeks, Stornoway black pudding with pearl barely risotto. Lovely. Cheek feel apart. Succulent. Risotto was creamy with good texture.

For the main my wife had the Smoked salmon linguini. Quite rich but very tasty.

I had Beer battered haddock with handcut chip and homemade tarter sauce. Delicious!

The food was very tasty, they easily and happily accommodated food changes and the food was cooked to perfection. I would heartily recommend.
