Stopped at Creagan for a meal with 4 others, and was pretty disappointed with the food compared to the price. Paid just under Ā£30 each for 2 really mid steaks, would have been better to cook at home for half the price with 4 times the flavour. The tomato sauce labelled as Heinz clearly wasn’t heinz, but a cheap vinegary alternative, which I know people don’t normally mind but for us was dangerous as we need to see what the ingredients are for allergens… Not good.

Waitresses were louder than the 3 other tables combined, although the table service was great, so left a cash tip of Ā£15 in the jar, but was surprised when an additional Ā£10 was put on the bill as ā€œService Chargeā€ - thought this might be because we were the last table in and must have been closing soon, which would have been fair enough, but it was 8pm and they closed at 10.

Can understand why...

Absolutely lovely little pub with stunning views, friendly staff & delicious food (HUGE portions!).

We popped in here for dinner during our holiday to Appin after passing by on our way back from Oban. What a lovely find! We really enjoyed our food, we both had the Chicken Kebab which was lovely! Delicious flavours & lots of fresh salad!

We ended up stayed for a few hours as they have a pool table & dart board. We had so much fun! I even approved of the 90s themed playlist they had playing!

We had drinks outside whilst the sunset which was the perfect end to a lovely evening.

They have lots of outdoor seating, most of it covered for the ever changing Scottish weather.

The staff were all very friendly &...

Our last meal of a fantastic weeks holiday staying in Duror on holiday. The Creagan Inn didn't disappoint. 1st class service, fantastic food and lovely atmosphere and surroundings, even though it was raining off and on outside to enjoy a cracking meal last Friday evening. Great menu of starters, mains and desserts to choice from. Good range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails to accompany your meal. Another tick in the box is that the Inn is dog friendly and very accommodating as our wee dog is partially sighted. So well done to the staff for an enjoyable dining experience. A great last meal and thanks for boxing up our desserts to take home as we were stuffed from our starters and mains....

Went here with family the food wasn't that good the chilli bean chilli was too hot , burgers you can't go wrong with burger I suppose the fish there was far too much batter onit more batter than fish. The place was pretty loud no separate place for eating places the bar/pool table right next to the food seats (inside) the bar staff were abit rude to my Uncle at the bar when we were asked a question from another member of staff at the bar !!, the loud conversations we're not appropriate then the dogs were just wondering around the restaurant . The only good thing was the view from the end of the loch

What a fabulous find! Let's start with the lovely warm and friendly welcome. We arrived with our 3 dogs, and received a warm welcome and bowl of water for the dogs. The menu - phenomenal for vegetarians and vegans, and possibly the best menu I've ever seen. The food arrived quickly and freshly prepared and was generous portions and beautifully cooked. There's a good range of beers, and the IPA was really nice. Even the music is great. To be honest 5* isn't enough. I'm really impressed with this place, and to top it all off the views are breathtaking - in the rain and sunshine.

The service at this place is horrendous. No body comes to attend to you once you've eventually placed your order. You're left to fend for yourself, not asked how your meal is or if you want desert, the waitress collected our plates and walked off withouta word. The best thing that happened to us was we emailed a Complaint in and got a rude, abusive response from the looney owner, which I've attached. Customer service is not a priority, just making money is. This is a truthful review and I would recommend giving this place a miss.
