Couldn't fault our visit at all. Lovely welcoming staff that came to offer assistance the moment we arrived. They made sure we had everything we needed and even got our puppy a water bowl without us having to ask. There was plenty of sheltered seating with ample space between tables and everything was spotlessly clean. Food arrived quickly and was absolutely brilliant. Each individual component from the dough to the goats cheese was delicious and it all came together beautifully. We'd opted to share a pizza and it was served up on two plates which saved us trying to split it up ourselves which was a nice touch. We will certainly be back soon to try more of the menu and get some of the delicious looking cakes on display.

A lovely little restaurant which has a really welcoming atmosphere. We came for lunch on New year's Eve and the food was just amazing. Large portions, reasonable pricing, everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. Even though we had no room for dessert we still took home two of the fresh baked cakes to enjoy later in the evening. This is the second time we've been and it definitely won't be the last. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.

Lovely, friendly, and welcoming staff. Stylish and relaxed. Is equally good for superb coffee and cake or for an Italian style lunch. We spent a few hours here one rainy afternoon. The food was gorgeous and the staff absolutely lovely. Very Covid secure yet still retains a nice relaxed atmosphere.... restaurant has additional screens between tables, staff are wearing facemasks, and everything is cleaned regularly. A great find!

Went for lunch with husband for his 80th birthday today . Along with us was my daughter and Grandson(7months). I struggled with the door to get in as my husband is in a wheelchair and even though there were employees standing around not one came to help me with the door. Male Staff member very friendly and offered a high chair for my Grandson . Major issues came with food. We had all viewed online the menu and had decided what we all wanted, but been offered the menu none of what we wanted was on the menu. Placed an order of meals on the menu instead only to be told this and that wasn’t available today. Meals were nice but my Risotto was very salty . Given the dessert menu and yet again everything we wanted and tried to order was not available, Sorbet, panna cotta, tiramisu and Profiteroles . Spent just under£80 for a not such an enjoyable meal for my husbands birthday. The male server was very nice and polite but with only 2 other tables in there at the time, 1 x 4 people and 1x 6 people who had virtually nearly finished they were not exactly rushed off their feet. Sorry but this today was not such a nice experience for such a major birthday for my husband. Suggestion that you should remove your online menu on your...

I was hoping to like this little restaurant more than I did. Denholm is a nice little village between Jedburgh and Hawick, so I guess it needs friendly little places for people to use regularly, and I appreciate how hard it is to run a business at the moment. However, it needs to be said, I honestly didn't find it a particularly nice atmosphere. The greeting wasn't friendly, and I felt like perhaps we were "in the way", maybe because we aren't local, who knows. There was a family group of 8 of us. We had a range of food (not a huge menu choice as one would expect due to a small establishment) of pizzas and pasta. What we had was nice, but they were small portions for the price. One of the dishes was unavailable and weirdly felt, by the tone, that we "should have known" (perhaps there was a sign up, but we didn't see anything). There is a small car park, but it isn't needed as there is parking on the road around the green area. It's probably a good idea to book during "peak" times, I would assume. Anyway, it is a nice place to visit, but personally, I would not be in a...

A great experience. This small restaurant is a must if you are nearby. On the north side of the A7 if you are heading east. Right on the corner, so look out for it. The food is excellent, the portions very reasonable (not the cheapest, but well worth the money), the quality is first class and piping hot when required. The staff are excellent and very helpful and polite. Very well presented and cleanliness is their aim. The place is very neat, in a great state of repair, clean and the tables are a good distance apart to give you a bit of privacy. It is disable friendly, has disabled toilets and accessable. The car park is very small, however, there is usually ample parking just around the corner and good pavements for walking or wheelchairs. Well...
