The Food Crate Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Unfortunately not a great review Writing this because my wee nana of 78 and her friend come in here and love the food and she says the man working is always nice but

My nana came to tell me she wouldn’t be back as the lady ( member of staff ) was very abrupt with her on more than one occasion. Once it was she asked for something specific or to tailor a meal and the next time she was because she never put her MASK ON FAST ENOUGH when walking to the toilet .

What a shame this is! Staff should know how to deal with customers especially elderly ones

Didn’t want to even do this my but my heart was hurting for my wee nana.

I hope this was just a bad day this lady was having however it’s not good for business when pensioners are coming back in saying this.

Went in and felt invisible for the first few minds as know one acknowledged me but after that I got serve and was a good service. I enjoyed my all day breakfast very much so and would recommend it, you might need to ask for more beans though as you get about literally eleven beans ha but still one of the best I've had to date. I had a tea and biscuit for after words and came to not much over a tenner so all in a great place for a breakfast, well...

First time visiting this morning & thought it was brilliant. A really friendly vibe with very welcoming staff & the breakfast they provided was superb, well cooked and plenty on the plate.
