OMG this was amazing! This is the place my Mum, Jean Anderson grew up in and i went there to try and find her house. The guys in the pub were amazing and sat and spoke to us for ages. Lisa was wonderful and found us accommodation for the night. They helped me try and peice my Mums history together and by the time we left we had many of the locals giving us information. A step back in time and my mum was so excited to hear all the news i had for her. She is now 88 and still going so well. Loved every minute i was there. Thank you too William for escorting us to our BB.

We were a family of eight visiting Stirling in June and staying next door to this pub. We went on our first night on Sunday and we thought that the pub served food. The owner who was very friendly and helpful informed us that he just bought the pub & renovating the kitchen. He let us order food from another restaurant in town and let us eat in the pub. He provided the plates and cutleries. Highly recommend this pub. The staff were friendly and the customers were welcoming. The owner said that in a month or so, they will soon be offering food.

Had a lovely meal here for a family birthday. Really relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and food that looks and tastes like it was prepared with love. Highlights included the charcuterie platter, a mighty fine pizza, sticky toffee served in a pasta bowl that was easily enough for 2 people, and a first time for me having the amazing (and local) Milk & Honey ice cream!

Came here once during our stay in the Sterling area. We would have come more often, but it's not open for dinner daily.

It's a very nice, cosy Pub. Very friendly, cheerful staff. An nice and happy atmosphere.

We got a nice table by the window. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. Got some beer and ordered some starters and mains.

Had baked goat cheese and Haggis balls for starters. Both excellent choices. Nicely executed. For the mains we went for beef steak strips with chips and Bangers'n'Mash. Here again: Both great choices.

The steak was nice and tender. Good grilled flavour. The bangers were wonderful - from a local butcher. Good stuff.

The highlight were the delicious chips (fries). I don't know how the cook does it, but these were probably the best fries we've ever had. Crunchy and crispy (like we've never had before) and inside hot and tender. Divine. Brillant chips.

Prices are fair, staff was great. Food excellent. A perfect...

I visited The Foresters Arms for the first time on Friday, and honestly, it felt like I’d been going there for years. There’s a real warmth about the place, almost like stepping back into those classic Friday nights when friendly faces and a good pint of Guinness were the highlight of the week.

Even though it was my first time in, there was something familiar about it, the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. The staff were brilliant too! Welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely keen to make sure everyone was having a good time.

By the end of the night, I even met some fellow whisky enthusiasts, which just added to the whole experience. Safe to say, this definitely won’t be my last visit.

Great pub, great people, great pint. Looking forward to...
